Introduction

Dear Professor Lebow,

I am Nguyen Thi Thu Hang. Because we have two Hang in our class so my friends and other teachers call me “Moon”. I graduated from Ha Noi foreign language teachers training college.

I am a teacher at a centre. I teach at elementary, pe-intermediate, intermediate level. I have been teaching for 21 years.

My centre is not very big but we are busy all the time. We have to go to work everyday. My centre is in the North of our country. We often use projectors, radios, TV when teaching. I use the computer to look for information, prepare my lessons, read news. I can’t use it well.I have difficulties in using it. I hope after this course I can know how to  use computers for my job. We have computers but I do not use them much because our student do not know how to use the computers. I have been teaching for a long time but I have no chance to upgrade myself exept this time.  

I am married  and have two children; a daughter and a son. My husband works far from me.

I think I learn much after this course.

Assignment and journal

This is the third day we learn this subject. It is still very difficult for us. A lot of us can’t do the work. This afternoon, I have to try much. I opened a blog but I couldn’t open it because it is blocked. I don’t know the reason why. I open a new one here.  But I do not know how to link with others. All our class tried to help each others. I think our teacher was very tired of us because we couldn’t do things he wanted us to do.

We find many lessons about computers. We can study the introduction about the computer (unit 1), the way to use the computer in teaching 4 skills (unit 5, 6, 7, 8), or even the way how to think (teaching thinking skill – unit 9) and other things. The most important thing is that in order to use the computer in teaching well, we must know how to use it well. The link website:

This is the second day for our course but we haven’t get used to the lesson yet. It is difficult for us to login our blogs or save our materials in Delicious though our teacher helps us much. I tried my best but I still have many difficulties. I can’t do all the thing my teacher asked me to do such as making the link…. My teacher asked us to read some websites and I find some interesting articals to read. I am a teacher of English. I pay much attention to the pronunciation because Vietnames sounds are quite different from English sounds. It is easy for the beginners because there are steps in practicing.
